網際網路將世界零距離零時差的鋪展在我們眼前，人們穿梭於實體與虛實的模糊界限之中，生活中大大小小的螢幕，射出無數條極速、承載著大量資訊的線，黏附於我們的大腦之中，佔據我們片刻的視線與心神。而我們在瀏覽資訊的同時，亦遭受穿透、撕扯、牽制與主體剝奪的過程。「束」建造出一封閉場域，使用沒有溫度的機械裝置，將資訊流化為雷射光束，精準地射出，緊附在觀者身上，試圖將上述情境轉化為一衝擊感官的經驗。

 

The internet collapses distance and time, bringing the whole world to us. People travel along fuzzy boundaries of the real and virtual, living in large and small screens, emitting countless number of lines of speed and information that adheres to our brains, occupying our sight and mind. As we browse through information, we too suffer from penetration, tear, tension, and deprivation of the subject.
"Beam" constructs a closed field by utilizing cold mechanical devices; the flow of information is sent into the laser beam, precise shot and tightly attached to the viewer, crashing with the viewer’s sensory experience.
