1963年生於台北。畢業於德國國立柏林藝術學院（HdK Berlin），獲「卓越藝術家」最高文憑。1984年開始錄像藝術創作，為臺灣新媒體藝術的開創者之一。曾獲台新藝術獎（2009）、德國柏林電視塔藝術獎（1995）與雄獅美術新人獎（1984）。2000年獲日本「美術手帖」推選為「最受注目的100位藝術家之一」。王俊傑現居住與工作於台北，並任教於國立臺北藝術大學新媒體藝術學系副教授，兼藝術與科技中心主任。

Jun-Jieh Wang was born in Taipei in 1963, he graduated from the HdK Art Academy in Berlin, completing a master class. He is one of the countryʼs few noted media artists, a pioneer of video art in Taiwan. He received the Hsiung-Shih New Artists Award in 1984, the Berlin Television Tower Award in 1996 and Taishin Arts Award in 2009. Jun-Jieh Wang is currently associate professor at the Department of New Media Art at Taipei National University of the Arts, Taiwan and Director of Center for Art and Technology.
