《陰極射線管的神祕儀式》

作品在影像中將電視介面傳遞電子光學顯像傳至肉眼的時間視為一種輪迴儀式,影像內的螢幕(介面)被視為一種穿透介面空間的媒體樂譜、藉由”慾望”穿透介面,還原媒體報導的現場,在慾望與病態當下,台灣民主社會受媒體介入輿論生成的亂象奇觀,高漲亂鳴的社會景像;一場充滿詭異憤慨、荒誕輿論的迷亂神情。作品的影像總體時間,被視為一個節目開始與結束的循環,作品以多個角度繪製影像的多重敘事軸線,影像以5頻道同步撥放,形塑類似Live、SNG媒體報導時在線性時間上寓意時而相同、時而相異的弔詭"時間現場"。

作品放置了大量由舌肉延展貫穿舞台的”符號密碼”,以及充滿思考性的舌肉延展建構影像的慾望世界,”由撕開真實性的CRT螢幕開始、大量流竄的慾望訊號、對影像提問的數位偽掃描線、再生的介面、空間升降的舌苔、舌肉舞台、指揮者手握舌肉指揮棒、與時間同步的指揮多重方向、被舌肉穿入成操偶、神情超然的集體意識等等,而所有的一切從被撕裂的陰極射線管祭壇開始...

 

《Ritual of Cathode Ray Tube》

This experimantal animation work draws the image with multiple angles, and the video is split into five different viewpoints. The images are projected with same angles and distances into the space to connect the images in the space. It creates a sense of LIVE or SNG (Media news gathering) style of reporting with multiple “live times” to interpret the simultaneous narratives in the image.My animation to express his views on contemporary Taiwanese media. The implied symbols in work are embedded in a torn-open CRT (Cathode Ray Tube) screen. Media are actually an absurd and bizarre gathering. The symbols implied in my artwork include the tongue as a metaphor for speech and the desire to control, and the conductor swinging numerous arms represents the manipulation of the media. Hey ,mock the incredible influence the media has over contemporary society and the way it stirs the emotions of the public.
