藝術家Artists
黃致傑 台灣新媒體藝術創作者／國立台灣科技大學建築學博士，現任中華大學建築與規劃學院專任助理教授 (2012~)。創作與研究成果發表於國際藝術人文社會期刊 (A&HCI ) 、美國電腦協會 (ACM) 、電機電子工程師協會 (IEEE) 、麻省理工學院出版社 (MIT Press) 、斯普林格出版社 (Springer) 、國際 IGI 全球出版社 (IGI Global) 發行之專書與論文集。作品曾獲選 2011 年第一屆美國電腦繪圖暨多媒體國際研討會 (SIGGRAPH) 數位藝術線上展、2009 年電腦藝術權威李奧納多期刊 (Leonardo) 與 SIGGRAPH 舉辦之數位生物藝術展選為台灣首位之參展藝術家、2008 年台北數位藝術節／K.T. 科藝獎金獎、2003 年布拉格舞台設計四年展 (Prague Quadrennial) 等國際重要藝術獎展。致力於開拓新媒體與互動技術在廣義藝術與設計領域的創新發展，曾於台北藝術大學新媒體藝術學系、台灣科技大學建築系、實踐大學服裝設計學系帶領設計與數位藝術相關課程。熱衷於運用電腦技術探索具人工生命 (Artificial Life) 特性的創作；嘗試透過科技藝術美學，反思日常生活、休閒娛樂、與建築空間的創意設計方法，創造能與人產生互動對話、增進生活情意的人機互動裝置 (Human-Computer Interactive Installation)。
Biography
Scottie Huang is an artist, designer, and assistant professor in the College of Architecture & Design at the Chung Hua University, where he directs the Biologically-Inspired Object research labotary. His research have been featured in The IGI Global, IEEE, ACM, Springer, and MIT Press, and his art/design works were selected in SIGGRAPH Online Art Exhibition 2011, SIGGRAPH 2009 Biologic juried art exhibition, Prague Quadrennial of Performance Design and Space, recipient of the K. T. Creativity Award a Gold Award in Interactive Technology Art, and MOCA Taipei as part of Trans – 3rd Digital Art Festival of Taipei. Scottie is committed to expanding the fields of new media art as well as create new innovations in design. He aims to incorporate the creative elements of digital art into designs for daily life object, so that future furnitures that can interact with people in a smart and soothing way. He has a Ph.D. in architecture from National Taiwan University of Science & Technology for work exploring kinetic structure and interactive art practices mediated through computational design and robotic technologies.
