戴嘉明是位教育家、動畫導演、設計師與藝術家，專長為數位動畫、媒體整合設計、視覺設計。近年來關注動畫在新媒體範疇發展的可能性，嘗試詮釋Animation(動畫)的定義與形式，曾透過策展提出動畫不該侷限於主流媒體與刻板印象，他也利用充氣、點鈔機、3D列印、旋轉檯與AR等虛擬與實體結合的方式，重新在生活環境中尋找賦與生命(Animate)的形式與題材。

Jia-Ming Day is an educator, animation director, designer and artist. He specializes in digital animation, integrated media design, and graphic design. In recent years, he directs his focus towards the possibilities for developing animations in the field of new media, through which he attempts to expandthe definition and form of animation. By curating exhibitions, he advocates liberating animation from mainstream media and stereotypes. He also combines virtuality and reality by making use of aerification, bill-counter, 3D printing, revolving plate, and Augmented Reality techniques, and thereby explores the forms and subjects that animate our living environment.
