作品說明 About Work：
我們經常以約定俗成的想像判斷真相，使我們「看似清楚、越看不清楚」。

人觀看全景影像的認知總是憑藉著既定的經驗去想像，我們自以為是的認為清楚的影像即是真相，我們經常以偏概全認定眼前所見的事物，卻陷入以全蓋偏的謬誤推斷。當你真正看清楚了那一個spot，才會發現一切只是自己的想像，但那想像在視點轉換時，便開始質疑什麼才是具真實性的。淺層地觀看形體的表像和物件背後的意涵皆可能存在同一層次的荒謬反差，刻意營造、矯飾、偶發、有(無)意識等等行為同時發生，我們的辨別需超乎社會規範與真理，此作品〈你真的清楚嗎?〉試圖表現事件判斷的反差和不確定性。

將表演者的肢體動作以單頻道投影，觀者透過她的肢體語言可猜測欲表達之思想和生命，CUBE的裝置記錄了表演者片斷的行為，我們能以俯角視點觀看記錄於CUBE的影像，它(CUBE)任由觀者的觸碰和各角度旋轉，影響表演者的肢體表現、也改變了觀看的角度。觀者的介入使影片中人物的行為在控制之下與自我之間達成平衡，利用象徵外在世界的裝置和獨立存在的個體作此互動連結，觀者可藉由CUBE與表演者進行對話，而CUBE在旋轉過程中，皆受到外在的力與內在的力相互牽引，最後又將回歸平衡狀態，你得仔細尋找、你得捕捉Spot的一條路徑。

 

你真的清楚嗎?

Are You Really Clear?

People tend to make judgements by thinking and imagining in conventional ways. Like this , we appear to understand the truth clearly but not.
People’s cognition of a whole picture/image is from imaginations based on one’s own experience. We often see the world with our own biased and narrow point of view, and mistaken clear images for truth without realizing its flaws. When you really clearly see that ‘spot’, you’d realize that all is merely your own imagination. When different perspective is taken, ‘reality’ is questioned.
‘Are You Really Clear?’ is about contrasts between things on surface and the truth behind it, and the uncertainty caused by our own (mis)judgement and (mis)understading to the world.
Viewers watch and observe the performer ‘inside the cube’. Viewers can try to guess and interpret massage behind performer’s body language. The ‘cube’ can be moved and rotated, which changes the performer’s mood, body language, and viewer’s viewing angle.
