最後的玫瑰(The Last Rose)

此作品在地上裝置了一朵顫動玫瑰,天花板上垂降了24盞鎢絲燈泡,12盞色溫5500K白光,12盞色溫3500K黃光,所有的燈光都連結到DMX控制器與調光器,使用Max/MSP程式控制明暗變化;玫瑰透過改造馬達帶動,以每分鐘1,600-1,800次的頻率顫動著,同時光線的變化會越來越快,作品中試圖呈現不同碎裂的時間感同時疊合的狀態。
This piece of work consists of a trembling rose on the floor and 24 bulbs hung from the ceiling. Half of the bulbs are 5500K white light and the other half are 3500K yellow light. All of them are connected to a DMX controller and a modulator. The amount of light is controlled by Max/MSP programs. Movements of the rose are triggered by a modified motor, resulting in a trembling frequency between 1,600-1,800 rpm. The light changes faster and faster so as to show the overlapping of broken time fragments.
