Where are you? will create a digital portrait which present the entirety of being. The portrait is created by gathering all the individual portraits from the different location via internet. Stars and watering as metaphors symbolize the existence and flowing net.In traditional idea, the portrait confirms the existence of being, however, we lost our existence of being as signals in the information flow. When we are photographed through the digital cameras, , we become information, signal and code in the process of decoding and recoding into 0 and 1. After the restructuring and re-existence, the portrait of whole has become anyone but on one.
The digital system, by means of digital coding, joins individual units and integral systems together by means of digital devices. The system union creating a matrix, a place of digital survival, is the brand new world of us. The new union seems extend human life allowing it to be anywhere, but nowhere. By editing and regrouping the codes, telecommunication reappears to relay human existence signals. Using the digital signal links for the transmission, one is to receive signals of existence in a passive control. Imaging self existence, nobody knows for sure if one does exist.
