Description:

The artworks, “Lost My Focus-Whisper,” “Lost My Focus.” utilize the artist’s own body as a transfer medium for an artistic concept, presenting the theme of body perceptions. By continuously doubting one’s own condition with the desire to cutting apart certain connection points, an extreme inability to focus, confusion, pulling away, and detachment are caused. Yet, this is also a deliberate escape. It is as if one is muttering to themselves. From a sidelong glance or from the viewer’s point of view...that is a type of clear out of focus.

The creative focus concerns one’s own life experiences and their connections, which are projected outwards. The creative thinking calls into question the body, reflecting the blurred fantasy and anxiety that modern people undergo as a result of being overwhelmed by information through the multiple windows of digital media. Capturing modern window’s eternal casting on the outside world, it invokes every more curiosity as well as a sense of convolution or unpredictability amongst people outside of the frame.
